Uhu Falls

The Hidden Paradise

The 7the falls and the water here
is so cold.
Located in Sitio Macnit Brgy. Nomoh Maasim, Sarangani Province. An upland area dominated by indigenous T’boli tribe.

See the Mountain? That's where the Uhu Falls
is located. Better be ready for some
exciting adventure.
The centro can be reach in 10 to 15 minutes via motorcycle and vehicles but the Uhu falls is far from the center of the community so you need to hiked for about two and a half to three hours for you to reach the last falls.

The best part of the hike? You'll difinitely get
wet along the way.

Before reaching the 7th falls you will occasionally be crossing a meandering river, beautiful rock formations and six breathtaking cascade along the way. (I didn’t get the chance to take some photos of the other six falls)

See the fog?
When you reach the last falls you will see a visible cloud water droplets or ice crystals suspended in the air. Btw, the area temperature here is so cold that’s why you need to bring some jacket because the coldness will make you shiver.

The view from the top of the mountain is grand beyond
description.

The scenic overlook was breathtaking.
The climb from the falls to the summit down the base of the mountain is more strenuous but it will be worth it because of the scenic view from the top.

With the T'boli Tribe

The place is indeed beautiful with its breathtaking view and fresh air and also the T’boli people are very hospitable. This is a must place for those people who loves to seek adventure. (; A friendly reminder if you're not an allocentric or a midcentric, better not go.

"It's a roundtrip. Getting to the summit is optional, getting down is mandatory." - Ed Viesturs
