The main attraction of the Plaza is the fish pond and the shrine of General Paulino Santos. But aside from that, the place is surrounded by different trees and plants.  “We arrived in Dadiangas, Sarangani Bay Cotabato at 8:30 in the evening and began to disembark as soon as the SS “Basilan” had anchored. Throughout the day, the settlers , officials and personnel of the National Land Settlement Administration were kept busy unloading our equipment and supplies and storing them in the temporary storehouse furnished by several residents of Dadiangas. The settlers were in good spirit and excellent health, at night, everybody was properly sheltered and each one enjoyed a peaceful and sound sleep.” – From the Diary of General Paulino Santos, February 27, 1939

So when you visit General Santos City, dont forget to have a peaceful stroll in the plaza. The place is perfect for relaxing, chitchating and spending your spare time.
